In the forum, a moderator can validate a child comment without having validated the father. so the "answer" appears as a answer to nothing.
I see two ways to modify this behaviour
- either forbid to validate while the parent is not published (The easiest, so I think this one should be choosen)
- either the validation is registered but the document will change its llifecycle just when the parent will be published

Solution is simple : just avoid display of "Reply" link on non-published Post
